Baby Sleeping Bags at Hamill Baby

At Hamill Baby we offer the saftest, 100% natural fibre baby sleeping bags, and all the advice you need to make the right choice.

Why use a baby sleeping bag?
  • Helps keep baby in feet to foot position
  • Keeps baby's head uncovered
  • Eliminates need for blankets and other bedding in cot
  • Reduces risk of overheating
  • Reduces risk of baby waking up cold due to kicking off bedding

Why merino and muslin?
We have chosen merino and muslin sleeping bags as they are both natural fibres and help prevent baby overheating whilst keeping baby warm.

Merino Sleeping Bags

Merino breathes, so using merino on the inside of your Go Go BagTM, ensures moisture  is absorbed and released away from your sleeping baby.  In cooler conditions, merino will insulate.  This unique feature creates its own microclimate around the body, regulating your baby's temperature. In essence your child becomes perfectly adapted to their sleeping environment. Learn more about the unique benefits of merino.

They come with a unique travel bag and can be taken anywhere with it's unique vent function so that you can simply transfer from car seat or buggy into their cot or bed.

One sleeping bag will fit your baby or toddler for upto 2 years, making them an amazing investment.

Muslin Baby Sleeping Bags

The waffled cotton of our  Aden and Anais quilted sleeping bags provide a layer of cushiony warmth produced from only the most natural of fibers allowing babies and toddlers to feel warm and toasty without overheating.

Aden + Anais baby sleeping bags are designed to be worn over a baby’s pajamas, ensuring a safe night’s sleep by eliminating loose crib blankets, which can be dangerous. Muslin’s light, open weave allows a baby’s body temperature to regulate itself naturally helping to prevent overheating. Aden + Anais sleeping bags offer the ultimate in breathability and softness, as the more the more you wash them, the softer they get. Each sleeping bag zips from the bottom, making diaper changes easy, and a strip of muslin over the zipper by baby’s face provides extra comfort. Aden and Anais award-winning baby sleeping bags are the perfect sleepwear to follow their popular swaddling blankets.

What temperature should the nursery be at night?
The ideal temperature for a baby's room at night should be between 16o C and 20o C.
To check if baby is too hot or cold, feel their tummy or neck - hands and feet are not indicative as they feel cooler.
